Recently, I updated my profile in LinkedIn and linked my twitter to it.
I have to say, LinkedIn is a quite well designed website, so that I spend hours on it, and it can earn money by itself.
What do I do on LinkedIn?
- View the profiles of others, mainly ones in the same company or same industry
- Learn how to write CV from them
- Learn the career path of the successful persons such as current and ex CEO, Director of my company:)
- Get to know more industry specific info by viewing tech guy’s profile and attending groups
For example, I found a Director or VP of a large company more often comes from a Director or VP of a small company, rather than promoted directly inside the company. By the same theory, a CEO of a small company is more often a VP of a big company previously^^ Do you get something of how to become a CEO of a large company? :)
